Naseem Gulamhusein, BA, Senior Yoga Teacher, is certified with the Yoga Association of British Columbia (YABC) and Kundalini Research Institute (KRI). She has studied Classical Ashtanga, Hatha and Kundalini yoga with renowned masters Baba Hari Dass, Gurumayi and the late Yogi Bhajan. Naseem's advanced yoga training includes an Ayurvedic Practitioner’s program, level 2 postures, conscious communication and non-violent communication, as well as over 18 months residential service in yoga communities. She has taught internationally, to all levels of students, ranging from pre- and post-natal to seniors, and been an instructor for yoga teacher training programs in Canada and the USA since 2002. Naseem’s dedication to selfless service has included service at an orphanage in India, and support in palliative care in Ottawa. She completed a Geography degree at UBC and a diploma in Environmental Studies from Langara College.

Lidija Martinovic, BA, Senior Yoga Teacher is an internationally certified by the Kundalini Research Institute and is a founder of the Yoga Wheel Turning. Initially trained as a counsellor, Lidija began working with war victims and refugees in 1993 during which she was trained in Non-Violent Communication. Today she works as a yoga, meditation teacher and yoga therapist, privately and in groups with children, adults and educators, as well as leading workshops and residential retreats. Lidija is trained in experiential anatomy and mindfully integrates the mental, physical and energetic systems. In her understanding and teaching movement she applies modern principles of tensegrity. She is passionate about her inquiry into the nature of the mind and its effect on human conditioning. For the past seven years Lidija has been studying dharma in the Theravadan tradition, and more recently Nyingma and Kagyu Tibetan schools. Lidija completed her meditation guide training with Shambhala International, and volunteers guiding meditations at a local correctional institution.
