Program of Study
The Iridology program is offered part-time over three (3) weekends(Saturday and Sunday from 9-4).
What is included in the Program?
The course includes the textbook and a ring binder with copies of all extra relevant written material, slide photos of your own eyes to practice with, and 1 year membership with I.I.P.A. at the end of the Program.
Weekend 1
We will cover the history and development of Iridology, European Iridology, American Iridology, and Comprehensive Iridology TM. In addition, we will cover psychological patterns, iris photography, eye anatomy and physiology, topography and mapping of the iris, constitutional types (lymphatic, biliary and hematogenic) and their subtypes (by colour), iris structure (by types) and signs, pigmentation, lacunae, and pupil tonus. We will also be Iridology Information Package - Sept 2007 taking photos of the irises of each student for evaluation during the last 3rd weekend class. This is optional for those students who are interested.
Homework requirements until the next class include a minimum of 6 hours of study, along with practice in iris analysis based on what you have learned so far. You will collect information and confirmation of your findings for the second weekend class.
Weekend 2
You will learn combinations of signs, structure and pigment details, contraction furrow signs, pupil tonus in detail, lacuna types, exceptions to rules, specific constitutions and syndromes, basic sclera signs, further psychological pattern information, emotional relationships to organs via signs in the iris, research issues, analysis and live practice for practicum preparation, etc.
Homework requirements include a minimum of 6 hours of study, along with continued practice in iris analysis. You will collect information and confirmation of your findings for the 3rd weekend class.
Weekend 3
Saturday consists of complete iris evaluations. We explore going into practice as an Iridologist or adding Iridology as a tool to your existing practice. There is discussion on business practice and suggestions on ways to utilize this tool. We cover marketing, and legal liability issues, waivers etc. There will also be an introduction to various natural health recommendations based on the iris signs and particular constitutional types.
