History of Iridology

Iridology has been practiced since the 1800’s. Hungarian Dr. Ignatz Von Peczley was the first Iridologist to have made a chart, or “map” of the iris, illustrating the correspondence to the physical body. Since then, Iridology has been researched, studied and thoroughly documented throughout the European countries and Russia.

A majority of Iridology research was performed in Germany, where Iridology is used by physicians as a means of identifying genetic health tendencies and current states of the body systems by examining the nerve reflexes in the iris.

Currently in Russia and Germany, Iridology is a safe, non-invasive and inexpensive method of analysis that is integrated into both orthodox and complementary medicine. Medical research in several European countries, Russia in particular, has established greater acceptance of Iridology. In Russia, a trial involving 800,000 patients found Iridology to be 85% accurate in diagnosis; in South Korea clinical trials by the government found that on average Iridology was 78.2% accurate and with an impressive 90.2% accuracy in the diagnosis of digestive system disorders. Iridology has much to offer medicine. It is now taught to medical students in certain European universities.

The European methods taught in this program are more efficient in identifying health tendencies than previous Iridology methods. Education puts your client in control of their own health. When they understand reasons for their physical symptoms, they are more likely to follow through with a health regime. An Iridology analysis is an incredibly empowering and encouraging session to support your client’s health.
