Tuition and Expenses
Course Dates, Times and Fees
- There are a total of 14 classes for the entire program. Part 1 consists of 10 classes; and Part 2 consists of 4 classes
- Classes are held at Langara College on Saturdays from 9:30–5:30.
- Part 1: Comprised of 10 classes, tuition fee is $698.00. Offered in September and in March
- Part 2: Made up of 4 classes, tuition fee is $280.00. Offered in January, and June.
Required Textbooks
- The Complete Guide to Aromatherapy, Second Edition, by Salavtore Battaglia
- The Illustrated Encyclopedia of Essential Oils, by Julia Lawless
- Any recent and thorough Anatomy and Physiology textbook, this is the student’s choice
Additional Costs Required by Students
Carrier oils, hydrosols, some essential oils and bottles will be shared by the students and are included in the lab fee that is paid directly to the instructor ($400.00). The Lab fee includes their own personal essential oil kit to use in blending labs.
Other Materials and Supplies Required
Students must supply their own bath towels, hand towels, face cloths, sheets and pillow for the practical application portion of this course. If the student owns a massage table, they may be asked to bring it to class.
